If you are in a position where you need to meet and greet many clients or people, then sweaty palms for sure will create some problem. That is very much an embarrassing situation to be in. There are different kinds of drugs available to help out in those situations, but they have many other side effects like blurred vision, dry mouth, or sedation.
Are you ready to go for a surgery to cure sweaty palms? Sounds absurd! Doesn’t it? There are other methods like Iontophoesis, where they apply low intensity electrical currents to your hands – and this treatment has to be done for several weeks in the beginning. Injecting some botox into your palms two or three times a year, is another method. But this may cause paralysis to your nerves. These all are invasive methods and needs surgery. Try out all other ways possible, before opting for a surgery. Valerian Root, St. John’s Wort, or Kava Kava is the herbal remedies which needs no surgery.
Sweating palms can also be caused due to hereditary. So, being not clean causes sweaty palms is just a myth and one need not be afraid that they are not clean and this causes sweaty palms. Caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods also can make one sweat. Be careful of the hand wash soaps. Some may actually kill the good bacteria on palms that help in keeping hands fresh.
Stress causes sweat. Follow good relaxation techniques and breathing exercises. Yoga is a good cure to keep stress at bay and cure sweaty palms. These are not just cheap but don’t have any side effects. Consult your medical practitioner or your doctor before starting any of these methods. Follow his suggestions particularly if you have other health problems or diseases.
